Walkathon in Brooklyn Heights

Our friends from Grace Episcopal Church in Brooklyn Heights NY are planning an El Hogar walkathon on May 15. This is their first walkathon for El Hogar, and they are encouraging all family members to come out and participate.

Date: Sunday May 15, 2011
Location: Grace Episcopal Church, 254 Hicks Street, Brooklyn Heights NY
Distance: 1 mile – open to all walkers

Information: The route will begin and end at Grace Church, with a light lunch upon return. Teams are encouraged to form; the team bringing in the most funds will be recognized. Families with children of all ages are encouraged to participate. Children will be helping children, learning that we belong to one another across the human family.
