From 2004 to 2010, the Rev. Richard Kunz served as Executive Director of El Hogar in Honduras. His heart for the children in our care and his drive to ensure that they received what they needed to break the cycle of poverty was apparent whenever you spoke with him. Even after stepping down as Executive Director, Rich has continued to be a strong supporter of El Hogar and has advocated for us whenever there is an opportunity. Even while currently serving as full-time rector at Grace Episcopal Church in White Plains, New York, Rich has added another achievement to his resume – published author.
Rich has recently published God’s Grace and Robert’s Rules, a guide for vestry members as they juggle between the responsibilities of church administration and their own spiritual journeys. The book, available now, can be used by individuals or groups. It’s a guide that will enable any vestry member to better serve their church and to, in doing so, strengthen their church.
“Rich was a wonderful Executive Director for El Hogar in Honduras and has continually shown his support for our organization and our children,” said Liz Kinchen, Executive Director of El Hogar North America. “The publishing of this wonderful book is the latest accomplishment for a man who has given so much of himself to El Hogar, the churches that he has led, and everyone who has had the honor to meet hm.”
All proceeds from the sale of God’s Grace and Robert’s Rules are kindly being donated to El Hogar by Rich. You can find the book by visiting www.forwardmovement.org/Mobile/Products/2376/Gods-Grace-and-Roberts-Rules.aspx.
